Do I need surgery for a hip labral tear?+
Many labral tears can be managed well without surgery. This programme is a structured conservative approach to settle symptoms, rebuild strength and control, and return you to activity. If surgery is on the cards, the Hip Pre-Hab add-on can help you go in stronger.
Is this suitable if I just want to be active and pain free, not return to sport?+
Yes. The plan can be tailored and used for anyone wanting to simply become more active and pain free, right through to those wanting to push toward higher-level exercise. You progress at your own pace.
What happens if I get a flare-up during the programme?+
Phase 1 specifically focuses on mitigating flare ups and not irritating the hip, and the education content gives you a clear strategy for managing symptoms if they arise. On the Resilience tier you also get direct touch points with Mehmet.
How is my progress tracked?+
The app lets you track completion and compliance, log irritability after sessions, and record strength, functional and psychological resilience progress, so you can see exactly where you are in your recovery.
